DYNAMIC TRAFFIC ROUTING

Goal
The goal of this project is Optimal Path Finding in a Real-time Virtual Environment, Application for Emergency or Disaster Relief Action, Assistive System for Intelligent Vehicle with GIS/GPS

Abstract
Optimal path finding is one of the critical issues in emergency or disaster relief. The purpose of this project is to overcome common GIS software’s limitations, such as longer time of optimization algorithm, restrictions of navigation and limitation of static data. Main technique includes 3D road network generation, real-time optimal path finding regarding traffic signs and signals, inclement weather and road surface conditions in immersive virtual environment.
